What?

Temple Of The Hidden Other is a community of people coming together to achieve individual and collective greatness across all artistic talents, trades, interests, aims, and more. Shared stories and experiences meet testimonials and parables and resources developing into real world based recommendations of action in support of the appreciation and creation of new and continuing public and so-called outsider art with personal growth and community involvement leading to finding ones purpose and achieving true enlightenment.

Can You Elaborate?

Despite the increased connectivity of and endless wealth of available knowledge in the modern world, people feel more and more isolated and alone at increasing and alarming rates. Mental health issues, physical health issues, relationship dynamics, financial statuses are all paying the price in the lives of the average person for a system and world that is no longer in their best interest and has long abandoned those things which truly define the human race.

Collectively, we have been duped. We have been brainwashed and otherwise convinced that rather than creation, consumption is the purpose of our time on this rock. Constantly digesting empty and vapid and valueless nonsense has replaced composing music, painting pictures, writing poems or essays or books. Endless distraction and need for constant dopamine fixes has eliminated the ability to enjoy great works across all the arts which inherently require time and engagement to truly and fully appreciate. Text messages and emails in place of real world conversations and interactions has made us socially inept and awkward, selfish and inconsiderate, lacking empathy and consideration and common sense.

So...

Temple Of The Hidden Other believes that the purpose for our existence is the creation of art in all its forms. Additionally, we are of the view that continuous growth is the objective of our individual living. We aim to connect and grow a community of creators who believe the same. Achieving continued levels of enlightenment - individually and collectively - is the ultimate payoff at the end of it all
